Here’s how to get on the Inside Trac, our package of interactive services available exclusively for clients of Universal Logistics:

• Transportation Clients can Track and Trace an import or export shipment (ocean and air). For example, you can trace Inbound Freight by: Ship Date, PO Number, Exporter or Origin.
   
• Customs Clients can access real-time Customs release status.
   
• Customs Clients and their vendors can:
  • prepare Canada Customs Invoices (CCIs), Canadian NAFTA Certificates and U.S. Proforma invoices.
  • access their tariff database (Client Tariff Resume), including vendors, products, HS Tariff Classifications, duty rates and other pertinent customs data.

Coming next will be the following Inside Trac features:

• Full Track and Trace of truck shipments
   
• Management reports

To take advantage of the interactive features offered through Inside Trac, you will require internet access and a web browser with high-encryption standards, such as Internet Explorer 5.0+ or Netscape 4.0+.

The confidentiality of your on-line data is protected against unauthorized access with a range of security precautions, including a Cisco firewall with secure socket layer (SSL), and high-level encryption.
