| Fuel Surcharge
on European Ocean Shipments |

(Toronto, August 14, 2003)...
Member Lines of several Conferences have announced
the updated Interim Fuel Participation (I.F.P.) surcharge,
applicable to Full Container Load traffic, on the Canada
- United Kingdom and the Canada - European Continent trade
lanes. Effective September 1st, 2003, the following
fees will apply:
US $143.00 per 20 ft. container
US $286.00 per 40 ft. container
Fuel prices will continue to be monitored and the I.F.P.
will be adjusted as necessary by the Conferences.
