Canadian
Pacific Rail (CPR) Intermodal Terminal is changing its
operations and billing processes to accommodate changes
in the marketplace, improve truck turn times, turn times
of containers and terminal fluidity. The
key change is an increase in storage rates; free time remains
the
same.
Here is how the changes will be applied, effective
September 15, 2004, at CPR Vaughan, ON and Lachine, PQ
terminals:
Import Dry Containers
| Free time: |
3 free full days after grounding at the
terminal, plus the first weekend
and/or holiday if the 3 days have not yet expired
|
| Storage: |
$175 per day for the first 3 chargeable days ($100
increase)
$225 per day thereafter ($100 increase) |
Import Reefer Containers
| Free time: |
2 free full days after grounding at the
terminal, plus the first weekend and/or holiday if
the 2 days have not yet expired

| Storage: |
$175 per day for the first 3 chargeable days |
