| Fuel Surcharge update on UK/European Ocean Shipments (Import and Export) |

(Toronto, November 9, 2004)… Member Lines of several Conferences have announced the updated Interim Fuel Participation (I.F.P.) surcharge, applicable to Full Container Load and LCL traffic, on the Canada - United Kingdom and the Canada - European Continent trade lanes. Effective December 1, 2004, the following surcharges will apply:
US $219.00 per 20 ft. container
US $438.00 per 40 ft. container
US $12.00 LCL traffic - per cbm or 1,000 kg, whichever is greater.
Fuel prices will continue to be monitored and the I.F.P. will be adjusted as necessary as advised by the Conferences.
