United Kingdom Ocean Import - Currency Adjustment Factor
(Toronto, June 12, 2006)… Based on the latest monitoring of currency values, Trans-Atlantic Conference carriers and other service providers have announced a revision to the Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF).
This fee is applicable to all Less Than Container Load (LCL) traffic moving from the United Kingdom (Westbound) to Canada.
Effective June 16, 2006 the following surcharge will apply.
Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) 8%
We will continue to monitor this charge, and will adjust as necessary.
