Due to the recent increase in the price of fuel, most airlines have announced fuel surcharge increases, effective March 1, 2008. Air Canada has posted the following rates for cargo between Canada and:
- Canada (Domestic) $0.75 CAD / kg.
- U.S.A. $0.80 CAD / kg.
- Europe €0.80 Euro / kg.
- United Kingdom £0.553 GBP / kg.
Other airlines are expected to post similar rates.
