| Enroll now in the Air Cargo Security Program |

(Toronto, January 31, 2012)...The Air Cargo Security Program is one of many Aviation Security initiatives that are being put in place to mitigate risks to passenger and baggage screening, non-passenger screening and airport access control.
If you have not already applied to become a Registered Shipper in the Air Cargo Security Program, here's a quick reminder why participation is important: non-participants could have their cargo held for 24-72 hours prior to export.
Becoming a registered shipper and booking your cargo with Universal Logistics, an approved participant in the program, means your cargo is considered "secure" and will avoid it being held for security reasons.
It's easy to join the growing number of companies that have been approved to become Registered Shippers. Just contact Transport Canada by phone (1-866-375-7342) or email.
The Air Cargo Security Program will be mandatory for all parties involved in the Supply Chain by December 2012.
