intercontinental flights disrupted by striking
air controllers |

A strike by French
air traffic controllers is disrupting European and intercontinental
flights. The strike began at 3:00 p.m. on December
5 and is expected to run until 1:00 p.m. ET on Friday.
Today (Dec. 6), Air France will operate
15% of its domestic flights and medium-haul flights to Europe,
and 95% of its long-haul flights.
British European has announced the following
flights will operate normally on Thursday, December 6:

All the other British European flights
are cancelled.
The strike was called to protest plans
to harmonize air traffic control across Europe.
