Port, warehouse
and terminal activities in Antwerp, Belgium, could close
Thursday, December 13, 2001, if a two-day protest proceeds
as planned.
The purpose of the planned disruption
is to protest the European Foreign Ministers meeting in
Brussels, Belgium, on December 13, 2001.
The port is expected to reopen at the
end of Friday, December 14, 2001.
