)… The union threatening to
strike at the Port of Vancouver has agreed to not issue
a strike notice or engage in any job action provided two
conditions are met: 1) the mediation process continues; 2)
the Mediator feels progress is being made. The next round
of talks is scheduled for August 22, 2003.
