The Port of Vancouver has
announced that the Waterfront Foremen Employers Association
(WFEA) and the International Longshore & Warehouse
Union (ILWU) Local 514 Foremen have reached a tentative
settlement for a renewed Collective Agreement from January
1, 2003 through March 31, 2007.
Service disruptions, threatened by the union, are no longer
likely.
