| Backlogs remain
at Vancouver ports |

(Vancouver, May 20, 2004)… Due
to the continuing backlog at Vancouver ports, clients should
expect some delays with carriers using CNR, and longer
delays with carriers using CPR.
CN has still not managed to balance supply and demand;
the situation is worse for CP, because it appears there
is a major shortage of equipment.
Cross-border problems resulting from the new FDA reporting
(Bioterrorism) rules are further complicating the situation.
