| Deltaport B.C. terminal backup continues |
|
(Vancouver, November 26, 2004)
The situation remains very congested at Deltaport in British Columbia. On Monday, November 22, there were 3,978 containers to load to rail, or approximately 116,000 feet of railcars.
Labor shortages continue and one rail mounted gantry is still unavailable due to mechanical problems. But the operators say they are doing everything possible to move cargo as quickly as possible.
