(Toronto, August 18, 2005)… The Atlantic Conveyor V 5214, originally scheduled to sail the weekend of August 20/05 from Liverpool, has been dry docked in Europe to undergo emergency repairs.
ACL has advanced the sailing of the next vessel in rotation, the Atlantic Cartier, which is now due to sail Liverpool on Friday August 26/05. The Atlantic Cartier will assume V 5214, and take on the cargo originally booked on the Atlantic Conveyor.
The Atlantic Conveyor is expected to rejoin the rotation next week, and sail from Liverpool on Sunday August 28/05, assuming V5215.
