(Belgium, October 7, 2005)… Belgium has been hit by a one-day nationwide strike. Main entry roads to the ports of Antwerp and Zeebruge were blocked by striking workers, severely restricting access to these facilities.
Port operations (vessel loading/unloading) are expected to return to normal tomorrow, however access to the ports will commence on Monday, October 10, 2005.
