| Reduced risk of work stoppage at BC ports |

(Vancouver, January 6, 2009)
Following marathon negotiations, British Columbia waterfront employers and 450 unionized ship and dock foremen have moved closer to an agreement with the exchange of contract offers.
Latest talks managed to overcome an impasse on several issues, reducing the threat of a strike. The British Columbia Maritime Employers Association is scheduled to reply to the latest union proposal by week's end.
We will continue to monitor the situation and advise accordingly.
