G8 and G20 will disrupt Toronto airport operations
(Toronto, June 15, 2010)… Air freight moving in and out of the airline warehouses at the Toronto airport will be substantially delayed from June 23 to June 28 by security measures related to the G8 and G20. All vehicles entering Cargo Infield will be stopped for inspection by Peel Regional Police. This will result in substantial delays to all traffic moving to and from airline warehouses in the Cargo Infield area.
It's expected that export freight will experience the most significant delays.
