| CN reaches tentative agreement with Canadian Auto Workers |
|
(Toronto, January 24, 2011)...A potential strike by Canadian Auto Workers has been averted with the announcement that CN and the union have reached a tentative contract agreement.
The terms of the agreement provide wage and benefit increases for CAW members while allowing CN to retain and attract the skilled employees it requires in the years ahead.
The CAW represents approximately 3,975 workers, including mechanical, clerical/intermodal, excavator operators and truck drivers.
