Port of Chennai, India announces temporary stoppage of exports
& vessel operations
(Toronto, October 12, 2011)… A complete suspension of export operations will be implemented at the Port of Chennai, India from October 13 – 16 to facilitate the clearance of a huge import backlog. In conjunction with this, all vessel operations (import & export) will be stopped on October 13 & 14.
