(Toronto, January 4, 2012)… Please note that Atlantic Container Lines (ACL) has adjusted their sailing schedule due to severe weather conditions and port closures in the U.K. Due to the extreme conditions they have been forced to cancel their sailing originally scheduled for Sunday, January 15, 2012 (as per attached notice received today from ACL). Because of this cancellation, any freight planned for the January 15th sailing will be carried over until Saturday, January 21st.
Universal Logistics will be extending the receiving hours in the U.K. this week until noon Friday, January 6th in order to accommodate any orders that you may be able to process in time to meet the next sailing on January 8th. For any urgent shipments that will not be available until next week, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work on alternative solutions for you.
We apologize for this inconvenience and we will continue to monitor the situation to ensure your shipments move as quickly as possible.
