Mexico tariffs indefinitely suspended after deal reached

Toronto, June10, 2019

President Donald Trump tweeted Friday night that the U.S. and Mexico had reached a deal on immigration and security and the Mexico tariffs of 5%, due to take effect today, have been indefinitelysuspended.

In another tweet this morning, Trump advised the deal needs to pass a vote by Mexico’s legislative body and if not approved, the tariffs will beforthcoming.
