Legislation to promote faster crossings at Canada-U.S. border gets green light

Canada-U.S. border

Final government approval has been obtained from both Canada and the U.S. for a series of new projects created to promote faster travel through our international border.

The key change is the extension of “preclearance” to passengers using trains and buses.  In addition, the list of Canadian airports offering preclearance will be expanded to include Toronto’s Billy Bishop and Quebec City’s Jean Lesage airport.

Quick Tip #57
When Incoterms are incomplete

The shipping term FOB (Free on Board) is incomplete when the port of shipment and country are omitted. Moreover, you could end up paying extra if an incorrect assumption (guess) is made about your port of shipment (many countries have multiple ports of shipment).
