Trade War

What you need to know about the growing trade war

An escalating multi-front trade dispute between the U.S. and many of its biggest trading partners has moved the country into a global trade war.

The issues began in March when the U.S launched its first round of tariffs. Subsequent rounds, hitting products made in Canada, Mexico, the EU and China, have been met by retaliatory tariffs on U.S. products. The U.S. shows no sign of backing down and has now imposed Reciprocal Tariffs on trading partner countries around the globe.

Learn how we got to this point by reading our Trade War Tariff Email Alerts, presented below in chronological order, and by viewing the US Reciprocal Tariffs tab.
