Border Crossings Update Following Rainbow Bridge Explosion - Universal Logistics Trade Alerts - November 22, 2023

Toronto, November 23, 2023

Normal operations have now resumed at 3 of 4 border crossings that shut down yesterday morning following a vehicle explosion at Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls). The Peace Bridge (Fort Erie) and Queenston-Lewiston Bridge (Niagara Falls), the 2 major commercial border crossings, both reopened late yesterday afternoon.

Although the Rainbow Bridge remains closed, it is not a commercial border crossing and supports travelers only. Whirlpool Bridge is a traveler only crossing available to NEXUS members only.
