USA/Canada Trade War Update: Canada removes retaliatory tariffs on most US goods - Universal Logistics Trade Alerts - September 3, 2025

Toronto, September 2, 2025

In keeping with Prime Minister Mark Carney’s announcement last month, effective September 1, 2025, Canada has removed 25 per cent Retaliatory tariffs on certain goods imported into Canada from the United States.

Order in Council (PC Number 2025-0637) removes tariffs on:
