Universal Logistics was recognized as a “Top 5” contributor at the 2015 conference of the Certified Transportation Network (CTN), held October 7-9 in Prague, Czech Republic.  Universal was represented by Mark Glionna, Vice President – Client Relations, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, and Paul Glionna, Vice President – Operations.

“Meeting with our Transportation Agents from around the world is invaluable,” explained Mark Glionna.  “It gives us the opportunity to meet face to face with our partners to discuss improvements for our clients’ business from both the export and import perspective – keeping in mind the unique logistics requirements of both the shipper and consignee.”

Paul Glionna was impressed by the focus on improving customer service, even in the face of some difficult industry conditions.  “My objective is to exchange ideas and gain insights on industry trends and best practices, and implement these with our existing operations.”

CTN is a worldwide group of international logistics providers that moves over one million shipments annually worldwide.
